AUTO GLASS LIFETIME WARRANTY

Limited Warranty:

Under our lifetime warranty, automotive glass is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass is installed so long as such defects are brought to the attention of Y & L Auto Glass within 30 days of your discovery of a defect.

If you have a problem that is covered by this warranty, you may contact any of our stores, call or text Toll Free at 833-954-5277 or schedule warranty work online at Ylautoglass.com and we will replace or repair the warranted product or correct the defective workmanship without charge at a mutually agreed upon time.

If we are unable to do so, we will refund the original purchase price of your warranted product. In order to exercise your rights under this Y & L Auto Glass warranty, we will require evidence of installation by Y & L Auto Glass such as a copy of the invoice.

 

Warranty exclusions:

This warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, or related damage in connection with installations to vehicles having damage or rust on the pinch weld. Y & L Auto Glass will use commercially reasonable efforts to advise you of the existence of such damage or rust prior to removal of existing glass; however, it is often not possible to do this. In these cases, Y & L Auto Glass is not responsible for any associated damage.

In addition, damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty. In no event shall the manufacturer or vendor be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Y & L auto glass warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Coronavirus (COVID-19): Keeping our people and our customers safe

As a people-first company, the health and safety of our associates and customers is always top of mind. Like many of you, we have been closely following the news and navigating these uncharted waters since first learning of the COVID-19 outbreak.

We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure that our customers and our people remain safe and healthy. We are closely following guidelines released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to prevent the spread of the virus.

Here are just a few of the tactics we are taking to protect our customers and associates:

  • We’ve increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing our technicians’ vehicles, our shops and our office locations.
  • We are providing access to sanitizing wipes and alcohol gel wherever possible.
  • Technicians are greeting customers from a social distance with a smile instead of a handshake.
  • As always, we encourage our associates to wash their hands frequently, refrain from touching their faces and to stay home if they aren’t feeling well.
  • If associates have recently traveled to a high-risk area of the world or been exposed to someone who has, we are asking them to self-quarantine for 14 days, as recommended by the CDC.
  • We have instituted strict international and domestic travel policies and postponed large in-person meetings.
  • We continue to update our associates across the country on procedures to help stop the spread of germs.
